If you adore dogs and wish to be of service...live in the NY tri-state area... please consider. Shelters are overflowing and rescues groups are in dire need. You will be instrumental in rehabilitating, helping your foster gain exposure leading to a successful adoption. There is nothing more rewarding than fostering a shelter dog, knowing you played a huge part in saving its life.

Adopt Bella
Update: Since finding Bella on the street, she has been spayed and vaccinated. The vet estimates she is between 10 and 11 months, and will be a small dog...under 30 lbs.
Bella is now available for adoption -- she is affectionate, gets along great with other dogs and people and most of all, she is adorable!

Bella - found on First Avenue
A terrified little puppy with her tail between her legs. 3 men on the street were going to tie her to a meter and leave her there in the dead of winter. She is in my living room right now. She is so timid and sweet... she has bite marks on her right ear. I fear she may have been used as bait.
I think I will name her Bella....she reminds me of a former rescue Bella who was also scared.
Please wish her luck in finding a new and wonderful home : (
Feeding Bella in the safety of her crate...
And remember to choose adoption www.petfinder.org www.nycacc.org
